Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained world-wide recognition as Buffy Summers. In the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played the role of Rebecca Becky Granger. Swanson is a native Californian. Her early years were marked by an passion for acting. She started her career as an actress in commercials. Her screen debut was in an episode on NBCs show It's Your Move in 1984. Two years later, in the romantic comedic Pretty in Pink of 1986 the actress made her screen debut. Swan is known for her voice that is blonde, breathless hairlisp, and breathless voice. But in recent times she's started playing the role of a side character. She was awarded an award called the Young Artist Award in 1989 for Best Young Actress in Horror or the Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
